How FOREFACT carries out research.
Good decisions start with reliable information. FOREFACT researches complex topics using public sources and turns the results into practical guides.
Our approach is based on five principles.
01. Traceable sources
Where relevant, we use official publications, laws and regulations, public company information, market reports, price lists and other verifiable sources.
Public user experiences and reviews can provide additional insight, but we do not automatically treat them as proven facts.
02. Separating facts and assumptions
Not all information carries the same weight of evidence.
That is why, where relevant, we distinguish between:
Facts: information that can be derived directly from reliable sources.
Calculations: results based on stated starting points.
Estimates: approximations when exact data is not available.
Signals from practice: experiences and patterns that are not necessarily representative.
We do not present an estimate as an established fact.
03. Researching costs and risks
An attractive price or a promising business model rarely tells the whole story.
That is why FOREFACT also researches additional costs, obligations, dependencies, financial risks and circumstances that can change the outcome.
Where relevant, we work with different scenarios.
04. Timeliness
Prices, regulations and market conditions can change after a piece of research has been completed. A guide is a careful account of the information researched, not a guarantee that all data has been checked again on the day of purchase.
Important decisions therefore always require a check of current terms and regulations.
05. Corrections and transparency
Despite careful research, data may turn out to be incomplete or may change.
Possible errors can be reported to FOREFACT. We assess relevant reports and correct established errors where necessary.
We do not promise absolute completeness. We aim for clear, verifiable and usable information.
Independent research. Deciding for yourself.
FOREFACT earns its money from selling its own digital guides, not from commissions, affiliate links or paid recommendations from third-party providers.
FOREFACT sells information and preparation, not guaranteed outcomes. Our guides do not replace personal legal, tax or financial advice.
