What is FOREFACT?
FOREFACT makes independent, practical guides about important business, financial and personal decisions.
We gather information from public sources and turn it into digital guides. That way you can better understand costs, risks, options and conditions before you decide.
What is a FOREFACT guide?
A guide is a digital PDF about one specific decision or one topic.
Depending on the topic, a guide includes facts, cost overviews, calculations, scenarios, risks, regulations and practical next steps, among other things. Some guides also come with an Excel workbook.
The exact content differs per guide and is shown on the product page, including a few sample pages.
What are Founder Stories, Programs and bundles?
Founder Stories are PDFs about the decisions behind a well-known company, with Decision Labs and fillable worksheets to apply the lessons to your own business. They are written independently; the companies and entrepreneurs mentioned are not involved.
Programs are digital series of lessons in PDF for personal development, such as choosing a direction, creating structure and dealing with pressure. They are not therapy and not tailored coaching.
Bundles are fixed combinations of guides, stories or Programs that belong together, for a lower price than buying them separately. The product page shows which parts are included and what they would cost separately. See all bundles.
How do I receive my files?
Straight after a successful payment, you can download your files from the confirmation page. You will also receive an email with the download link at the address you used for your order. With a bundle, you receive all parts as separate files.

Are the guides physical books?
No. The guides are digital files: a PDF, and for some guides also an Excel workbook.
You will not receive a physical product by post, unless a product explicitly states otherwise.
Do I need to take out a subscription?
No. You pay once per guide, story, Program or bundle. There is no subscription.
The price is shown on the product page concerned.
Can I buy several guides at once?
Yes. You can add several products to your basket and pay for them in one order.
Can I share or forward the files?
No. Your files are for your own use, or for use within your own business. You may download, store and print them for yourself. Forwarding, sharing, uploading or publishing them is not permitted. You can read more about this in article 8 of the terms and conditions.
Can I give a guide as a gift?
Yes. With the FOREFACT Gift Card from €15 to €75, the recipient chooses a guide, bundle or Program themselves. You can also order a guide or bundle and pass the files on to the recipient, as long as you don’t keep a copy yourself. You’ll find gift ideas on the Gift page.
Where does the information come from?
FOREFACT works with publicly available information, including official publications, regulations, market data, company information and public price lists.
When user experiences or reviews are used, we treat them as signals from practice and not automatically as proven facts.

Does FOREFACT earn money from the providers in the guides?
No. FOREFACT earns its money from selling its own digital products, not from commissions, affiliate links or paid recommendations from third-party providers.
Are all prices and data always up to date?
No. Prices, terms, legislation and market conditions can change.
Our guides are based on the information that was available when the research was done. So always check important data again before you enter into financial or legal commitments.
Are guides updated?
Some guides may be corrected or revised when there is reason to do so.
FOREFACT does not guarantee continuous updates, nor that future versions will automatically be made available free of charge.

Can I cancel my purchase or get my money back?
At checkout, you give permission to receive your files immediately after payment. As a result, your right of withdrawal lapses as soon as the digital delivery begins, because you cannot return a download. With a bundle, this applies to the bundle as a whole.
Your statutory rights in the case of a defective product remain in place: if the download link doesn’t work, a file is damaged, the wrong product has been delivered or the content doesn’t match the description, we will fix it free of charge.

Is FOREFACT personal financial or legal advice?
No. Our guides are intended for general information, research and preparation.
They do not replace personal advice from a qualified legal, tax, financial or other relevant expert.
A guide does not guarantee a particular outcome.
What should I do if my download doesn’t work?
First check the email account you used for your order, including the spam folder.
Does the problem persist? Then contact FOREFACT and include your order number and the title of the product.
